System Settings
The System Settings module enables you to manage and configure the basic system options for the FortiManager unit. This includes the basic network settings to connect the device to the corporate network, the configuration of administrators and their access privileges, managing and updating firmware for the device and configuring logging and access to the FortiGuard Update Service for updates.
 
Additional configuration options and short-cuts are available using the right-click menu. Right-click the mouse on different navigation panes on the Web-based Manager page to access these options.
The System Settings tab provides access to the following menus and sub-menus:
General
Select this menu to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the main system information.
Select this menu to configure administrator user accounts, as well as configure global administrative settings for the FortiManager unit.
Select to view the version and status of AV, IPS and Email Filter versions, and enables you to configure override servers and push update settings.
Select to configure mail server settings, remote output, SNMP, metafield data and other advanced settings.
