Notification configuration workflow
To configure the notifications, follow these steps:
1.
Configure the SMTP mail server settings so that FortiRecorder can send out notification email. See

2.
Configure the SMS server settings so that FortiRecorder can send out SMS messages. See
“Configuring FortiRecorder to send SMS messages”

3.
Configure the camera settings about what, when and to whom the notifications should be sent. See
“Configuring cameras to send notifications”

4.
Monitor the record of notification events by going to
Monitor > Camera Notifications > Notification Events
.
