Device Manager : Configuring devices : Configuring virtual domains (VDOMs) : Configuring VDOM global resources

Configuring VDOM global resources
You can set a maximum limit for each resource that each VDOM in a device can consume. Each VDOM’s maximum limit cannot exceed the global maximum limit set for the same resource. This is a good way to allocate network resources.
To configure VDOM global resources:
1. On the Device Manager, select the unit you want to configure.
2. On the device dashboard tool-bar, select stem > Virtual Domain > Global Resources.
Resource
The network resources that the VDOMs can use.
Configured Maximum
The maximum resource limit for all VDOMs set by the user. For more information, see “Edit icon”.
Default Maximum
The default maximum resource limit for all VDOMs.
Current Usage
The total consumption of the resource by all VDOMs.
Edit icon

Reset to default value
Select to set the configured maximum limit to the default maximum limit.
