Global Load Balancing : Global DNS configuration overview

Global DNS configuration overview
The system has a configuration framework that enables granular administration.
Figure 41 shows the basic configuration elements for Global DNS and the recommended order for creating the configuration objects.

Basic steps
1. Configure address groups to use in your DNS policy.
2. Configure the load balancing pool members, DNS zones, and the DNS configurations related to zones. Within the zone configuration, you create DNS RRs that map hostnames to virtual server IP addresses.
3. Configure special DNS features if they are applicable for your environment.
4. Configure the DNS policy that matches a source/destination tuple to a zone.
5. Configure general DNS settings to be applied when DNS requests do not match the DNS policy.
