Creating New Dashboards
This section provides the procedures to setup a new dashboard.

Creating a Dashboard Group
- Go to DASHBOARD.
- Click the dashboard type drop-down on the left.
- Click NEW from the bottom of the list.
- Enter a name for the new dashboard group.
- Click Save.
The new dashboard group will be added to the drop-down.
Creating a Dashboard
- Go to DASHBOARD.
- Select the dashboard type from the drop-down.
- Click the icon to the right of the dashboard drop-down.
- Enter the following information
- Name: name of the dashboard.
- Type: type of dashboard based on your environment.
- Widget Dashboard
- Summary Dashboard
- Business Service Dashboard
- Identity and Location Dashboard
- Description: description related to the new dashboard.
- Click Save.
Adding reports to a Widget dashboard
- Click the icon on the left under the dashboard type drop-down.
- Select the report from the Report or CMDB Report folder and click > to display the dashboard widget.
Adding devices to a Summary dashboard
- Click on the icon on the top menu bar.
- Select the device(s) and move them to the right pane by clicking the > button. Use the up and down arrows to rearrange the order of devices.
- Click OK.
Note: The following rules apply for sharing dashboards:
- User created dashboard folders and its contents are only visible to the user who created it. If this folder need to be
visible to other users, we recommend:
- using a shared account.
- using export/import mechanism to create the folder for that user.
- System dashboard folders are owned by FortiSIEM. Any changes to those dashboards may be lost during upgrade, if FortiSIEM also decides to change those dashboards.
