Restore from a USB key - CLI

1. Log into the CLI.
2. Enter the following command to restore an unencrypted configuration file:

   execute restore config usb  Load config file from USB disk to firewall.
           {string}   File name on USB disk.
               {Enter}|{passwd}   Password may be needed to restore.
   
   

The FortiGate unit responds with the following message:

This operation will replace the current firmware version!

Do you want to continue? (y/n)

 

3. Type y.
