Remote authentication server

System Settings : Admin : Remote authentication server

The FortiManager system supports remote authentication of administrators using LDAP, RADIUS, and TACACS+ servers. To use this feature, you must configure the appropriate server entries in the FortiManager unit for each authentication server in your network. New remote authentication servers can be added. Existing servers can be modified and deleted as required; see “Manage remote authentication servers”.

The following options are available:


Delete	Delete the selected server.
Create New	Create a new server. Select one of LDAP, RADIUS, or TACACS+ from the drop-down list.
Name	The name of the server.
Type	The server type. One of LDAP, RADIUS, or TACACS+.
Details	Details about the server, such as the IP address.
