Use this command to configure Direct Inward Dialing (DID). DID allows calls from external phone systems to dial directly to extensions added to the FortiGate Voice unit.
Syntax

set external-line {fxo1 | fxo2 | fxo3 | fx04 | <voip_providers>}
set cid-number <phone_number>
set extension <extension_number>
set comment <comment_string>

edit <pbx_did_name>
Enter the name for the Direct Inward Dial.
No default.
external-line {fxo1 | fxo2 | fxo3 | fx04 | <voip_providers>}
Select one external system that can dial directly to an extension. fxo1, fxo2, fxo3, and fx04 are the 4 PSTN interfaces. <voip_providers> are the VoIP providers added to the FortiGate Voice.

Enter the phone number dialed by a caller on the external system.
