Logging In to the CLI Over a Serial Connection

To start the FortiADC CLI over a serial connection:

1. Connect the supplied serial cable to FortiADC’s front panel serial port and to a properly configured terminal or terminal emulator, as described in First Time VLAN Configuration Example.
2. Press the <Enter> key to display the login prompt:

3. Log in using an FortiADC user name and password. If this is the first time you are logging in, use the default administrative user name and password as shown below:
