Configuring routing by most efficient route or static route
Proximity-based routing for link load balancing allows you to maximize WAN efficiency.
You can use either or both of these methods:
Dynamic Detection — FortiADC determines which ISP link is the most efficient route to the destination using latency, time-to-live (TTL), and traffic load.
Static Table — You specify which gateway FortiADC will use.
If using both, FortiADC checks the static table first for a matching route and, if any, uses it. If there was no matching static route, FortiADC will use dynamic detection.
To configure proximity-based routing, go to Link Load Balance > Resources > Proximity Route.
