Firewalling : Defining address objects

Defining address objects
Firewall addresses define sources and destinations of network traffic and are used when creating policies. By defining objects for addresses that may be used in multiple places throughout the configuration, and then using those objects rather than repeatedly re-entering those IP addresses, you can save time and increase accuracy while configuring FortiADC. If the address later changes, you will also be able to reconfigure FortiADC quickly: simply update the IP address object in one place. (Without address objects, you would need to update the IP address every place that it was used in the configuration.)
To configure IPv4 addresses, go to Firewall > Address > Address Config. To configure IPv6 address objects, go to Firewall > Address > Address Config (IPv6).
