Scope

This document describes how to use the Web-based Manger to set up and configure the FortiAnalyzer unit. It assumes you have already successfully installed the FortiAnalyzer unit by following the instructions in your unit’s QuickStart guide.

At this stage:

• You have administrative access to the Web-based Manger and/or CLI.

• The FortiAnalyzer unit can connect to the Web-based Manger and CLI.

This document explains how to use the Web-based Manger to:

• maintain the FortiAnalyzer unit, including backups

• configure basic settings, such as system time, DNS settings, administrator password, and network interfaces

• configure advanced features, such as adding devices, DLP archiving, vulnerability management, logging, and reporting.
